🌟 Opportunity Alert! International Development Grant Program in Behaviour Analysis 🌟
Ready to make a global impact with Behaviour Analysis?
The Society for the Advancement of Behaviour Analysis (SABA) is excited to announce its International Development Grant Program! This is your chance to get the financial boost you need to spread the knowledge and practice of behaviour analysis around the world.
Who Can Apply?
We welcome applications from individuals and organisations dedicated to developing and/or sharing behaviour analysis internationally.
If you or your organisation are passionate about promoting behaviour analysis worldwide and lack the resources to expand crucial information and knowledge, this grant is designed to support you! We especially encourage projects that will help build a lasting foundation for behaviour analysis in your region.
What's the Funding?
Grant Amount: You can request financial support ranging from US$1,000 to US$5,000.
Total Awards: Up to four grants are awarded annually.
P.S. The highest-scoring winner from outside the United States may also qualify for a separate travel grant of up to US$1,000 to present their work at our annual convention! (This is awarded after the convention once you've attended and presented.)
Important Dates & Details
Application Deadline: January 14, 2026
Eligibility Check: Coordinators and faculty of existing international ABAI-recognized programs are welcome to apply. If you're looking to develop a new recognized or accredited program, please ensure you meet the necessary requirements.
Key Requirement: All applicants must be formally affiliated with a university or institution and must not currently be receiving a SABA International Development Grant.
What We Look For (And What We Don't!)
✅ We Love Projects That:
Focus on Systems-Level Issues: Projects that aim to change broader systems, not just influence one person.
Create Lasting Infrastructure: Initiatives that have the potential to strengthen behavior analysis in a region over the long term.
❌ Projects We Cannot Fund:
One-time workshops that only impact individuals.
For-profit events.
Requests for funds to cover stipends, administrative support, or hospitality expenses.
What You Need to Do
Outline Your Expenses: Your proposal must include a detailed budget statement clearly outlining all proposed expenses.
Submit a Final Report: If awarded, you are required to submit a brief report on how the grant was used, along with an outline of expenditures, by April 1 of the following year.
Think Ahead (Optional but Encouraged!): Grant winners are strongly encouraged to submit their work and attend the annual convention, and potentially visit US laboratories or institutes during the same trip!
