Grants for Strengthening the Contribution of Civil Society Organizations to Volunteerism (Croatia)
💖 A Call to Action for Croatia's Heart: Funding to Fuel Volunteer Power!
Hey everyone! Got some really uplifting news to share about how Croatia is investing in the very heart of its communities: volunteerism!
The Government of the Republic of Croatia has just launched a major new funding opportunity aimed at supercharging the amazing work volunteers and the organisations that support them are doing across the country. Think of it as a significant boost to the people who show up, step up, and make a real difference every single day.
🚀 Why This Matters: Strengthening the Backbone of Society
We all know volunteers are essential, but this initiative is about making their work even more effective, impactful, and sustainable.
The goal is simple: to make sure our civil society organisations and volunteer groups have the capacity and tools they need to run their programs brilliantly. Whether it’s in education, healthcare, or social welfare, this funding is set to improve the quality and reach of services that truly lift our communities up.
The Big Three Goals:
Level Up Management: Improving the skills of the people who organise volunteers so they can manage programs efficiently.
Create Killer Programs: Funding more high-quality, long-lasting volunteer projects.
Shout Out Volunteer Value: Promoting why volunteerism is so vital and important for community development.
🎯 Who Will Feel the Impact?
This isn't just about funding; it’s about people! The positive ripples from these grants will reach:
Dedicated Volunteers themselves.
Employees in partner institutions.
The Beneficiaries in our schools, hospitals, and social institutions.
Civil Society Organisations (CSOs).
Everyday citizens in local communities.
By supporting both the volunteers and the organisations that run the show, this initiative is building community resilience from the ground up!
